Mastering your Hay Day Town and Fishing Area

Welcome to the Little Leaflets HayDay guide for efficiently managing your town and maximizing your fishing efforts. Here, we share our favorite strategies to help you grow your farm and community, just like we do in our neighborhood.

Your town, your schedule, our tips

Managing your Hay Day town can feel like a busy full-time job, but with a good schedule, it becomes a breeze. We follow a simple three-step check-in routine that gets easier with practice. In the morning, clear and fill your buildings, immediately dismissing any visitors requesting three or more buildings or high-stock items. Then, check your idle tab and send the remaining multi-building visitors to their next stops. In the evening, fire up your personal train to scoop up single-building visitors and fill what you can. Before you log off for the night, load up your slowest-serving buildings, like the Bed and Breakfast or Spa. Remember to kick out greedy visitors, those requesting three buildings, or high-value items that can't be completed. Always keep slots open for easy-to-serve townies!

Optimize your fishing with a daily routine

The main reason other Hay Day players, especially those looking for a supportive community, will love this section is our straightforward approach to town management and fishing. We aim to provide clear and sufficient information so that no one struggles to understand. Our tips are designed to simplify your daily tasks, making your gameplay more enjoyable and productive. From managing townies efficiently to setting up your fishing area for maximum yield, we've got you covered. This page is here to help you navigate these crucial aspects of Hay Day with ease, just as we help each other in Little Leaflets HayDay.

Pro tips for town and fishing area success

Here are some cool tips and strategies we share with our neighborhood members to help them out. For your town, remember to manage from the town hall! Are you clicking each individual building for your townies? You're wasting your time. Open the town hall, flip to the "Waiting" tab, and fulfill orders directly from the list to save time. For the fishing area, establish a routine. In the morning, use all your open fishing spots. Put fresh lures and lobster/duck traps into the water so they can make progress for the day. Mid-day, collect the fish. Throw down nets immediately, as they take four hours to finish. At night, put down your lobster traps (six hours) and duck traps (two hours) before bed. Make sure your lure maker and net maker are full with orders through the night!

Scheduling

Master your Hay Day routine by splitting your day between the town and the Fishing area! **THIS WILL ONLY WORK IF YOUR FISHING AREA IS COMPLETELY OPEN!**

Weekly Fishing Area:

Monday: All Lobsters. Fill every pool with lobster traps. This builds stock for a week.

Tuesday: Lobster and Ducks. Collect your lobsters, drop down a mix of lobster and half duck traps. 5 Lobsters and the rest Ducks.

Wednesday: All Ducks. Eventually the pattern will get easy. Collect everything, fill every single pool with duck traps. This will help with catching up on feathers.

Thursday: The Lure Reset (Fish only) Collect your feathers. Use regular fishing lures on all spots to stock up on plain fish meat.

Friday: The Net Lazy Day. Put fishing nets on all spots. Gives you a break in passive fish meat.

Saturday and Sunday: Clear your nets, use the weekend to target whatever machines or boat orders you need most right now.

TOWN SCHEDULE

Monday: Local Train Focus. Serve regular train townies who arrive on the Eggspress Train every few hours. Send away anyone asking for 3 buildings.

Tuesday: Neighborhood Personal Train. Use your personal train to pick up visitors that only need 1 building. This will make them easy to clear.

Wednesday: Short-Order Buildings: (Fast rewards) Focus only on Grocery Store and Cinema. They take least amount of time to finish.

Thursday: Medium Order Buildings. Focus on Diner and Gift Shop.

Friday: Long Serve Set up: Fill the Spa, Bed & Breakfast right before BED. Let them run over night while you sleep.

Saturday and Sunday: Clear out Weekend. Collect all your final rewards, kick out anyone left over that you don't want to serve and get ready for the new week.

3 Step Rule

1. Collect the Town Hall READY TAB to grab rewards. 2. Serve the easy orders. 3. Instantly banish anyone asking for 3 buildings or too many high value, long wait items.

LOBSTAH POOL!

Level 44 unlocks Lobster Pool. Focus on balancing your coin investment, trap production, and slot upgrades

The whole 6 lobster spots cost 335k coins. Don't dump all your coins into upgrading the pool all at once. Upgrading only 2-3 spots at a time is the way to go. Always harvest your lobsters before you upgrade. The net maker takes 6 hours. When you put down traps in the water immediately replace them in the net maker. Lobster Soup, Frutti Di Mare, and Lobster Pasta are highly valuable, so on LOBSTER DAYS prioritize making traps.

Once you unlock the Duck Salon at level 50, establish a strict rotation with the schedule.  Half Lobster and Half Duck which is on Tuesdays.

Lobster Pool Seat Costs:

1st Seat: 80,000

2nd Seat: 45,000

3rd Seat: 52,500

4th Seat:63,800

5th Seat: 79,000

6th Seat: 102,000

Total:423,100 coins.

Duck Salon!

Always keep a stock of Duck Traps in your net maker so you can instantly replace any taps you pull out of the water. *This would be important to upgrade your Tool Box to max amount of 1,000 capacity. Once you have unlocked all your fishing spots, focus tools on Tool Box upgrade.**

Keep a stockpile of feathers for few days before starting a massive crafting item to keep your sewing machine fully loaded. This will help when Wednesday schedule comes to queue with all your pools filled with duck traps ONLY.

Duck Salon Cost:

1st Seat: 90,000

2nd Seat: 51,000

3rd Seat: 59,000

4th Seat: 72,000

5th Seat: 90,000

6th Seat: 115,000
